Terms of Use for FORME

These Terms of Use govern the use of FORME, a private desktop application developed and operated by Manuel Essl in Vienna, Austria.
By using FORME, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of FORME
FORME is a personal training, cycling, recovery, sleep and performance analysis application.
It is intended to help users organize and understand their own training and health-related information.
FORME is currently intended primarily for personal and private use.
2. Not Medical Advice
FORME is not a medical device.
Information, scores, trends, recommendations and analyses displayed by FORME are provided for informational and personal training purposes only.
They are not medical diagnoses, medical advice or a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
Do not rely on FORME for medical emergencies or medical treatment decisions.
3. Training and Performance Information
Training, recovery and performance metrics are estimates or analytical interpretations based on the data available to FORME.
They may be incomplete, inaccurate or affected by missing or incorrect source data.
Users remain responsible for their own training decisions, physical activity and assessment of whether exercise is appropriate for them.
4. Connected Services
FORME may connect to third-party services such as Google Health and Intervals.icu.
Use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and policies.
FORME cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy or continued compatibility of third-party APIs or services.
A third-party provider may change, restrict or discontinue access at any time.
5. Google Health
Google Health access is optional and requires explicit authorization from the user.
FORME uses Google Health data only for features related to the user's personal training, health and recovery analysis.

6. Data Accuracy
FORME relies on information supplied by connected services, devices and user input.
FORME does not guarantee that:
- imported data is complete
- health measurements are medically accurate
- workout information is complete
- calculated metrics perfectly represent physiological condition or future performance
Missing information may result in unavailable or incomplete analysis.
FORME intentionally avoids inventing or estimating certain metrics where reliable source data is unavailable.
7. Local Data
FORME primarily stores application and imported data locally on the user's device.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security and backups where desired.
Removal of the application may not automatically remove all associated local application data unless that data is separately deleted.
8. Intellectual Property
FORME, its interface, design, software, branding and original analytical concepts are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except where applicable open-source licenses provide otherwise, no rights to copy, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative products from FORME are granted through these Terms.
9. Availability and Changes
FORME may be changed, updated, suspended or discontinued at any time.
Features and integrations may change as third-party APIs, data availability or technical requirements evolve.
No guarantee is made that any specific feature or integration will remain available permanently.
10. Disclaimer of Warranty
FORME is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is given regarding uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or error-free functionality.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on training, recovery, health or performance information displayed by FORME.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
12. Privacy
Use of personal and Google user data is governed by the separate FORME Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when FORME's features, integrations or legal requirements change.
The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
